For the past year our R&D team based in our New York City office have been analysing the role of technology in marketing communications.

The result, we're all now entering the Phygital™Age. An age where the Physical and Digital spaces are merging to enhance consumers everyday lives. We can create ideas and brand engagement with them through the seamless interplay of experiences across physical and the digital space: connecting, inspiring action and loyalty.
There'll be experiences that transform the 2D digital world into the 3D physical world, like the Nintendo Wii, and there'll be real-world events manifesting in digital experiences. Think Nike +.
We believe a Phygital™ approach can maximise consumer engagement like never before.
In recognition of the increasing role technology is playing in driving marketing innovation, we've set up the 'Momentum Lab'.
Our local R&D division is geared to anticipate, identify and bring to market new technologies that can be applied to marketing communications to help our clients build their business.

This year we spent a lot of time thinking about how we could all make a real and meaningful contribution towards building a sustainable future, right now, which our team could be passionate about particularly in light of our 'give back' business objective.
By providing venture capital [cash for equity] and time to assist emerging green technologies with their marketing strategies, brand building and marketing collateral we 'Gave Back' by using our core competencies to help local communities and fledgling green businesses that can have a profound local and global impact.
One business we supported was Biocube - a small scale diesel plant. This allows developing rural communities to produce their own diesel and electricity from non -food competitive feed stocks e.g. Jatropha, copra, opium poppies. The result? Independent fuel supply, no transportation costs, minimal infrastructure, sustainable agricultural practices empowering local business and industry.
